01 What is film time?
Film time is how much time we have once we arrive at the production. If you have multiple locations, travel time between them is part of your film time.
02 What happens if I go over time?
No problem. Extra film time can be added on the day at $500 per hour.
03 How long does editing take?
On average two to three days. Always under a week.
04 Do you do photography?
Yes! Every film package comes with edited photos from the production (25–100 depending on the shoot).
05 Can I hold a date?
Once you’ve made your down payment we lock in your production date.
06 Can I change my production date?
Yes. After your down payment we can move the production date for free with a week or more notice, based on availability.
07 Can I get the raw clips?
You can request the raw footage in addition to the edit for an additional $100.
08 How big is a crew?
It depends on the complexity of the shoot. Simple performance videos need 1–2 people; larger shoots can be 3 or more.
09 How do I lip-sync?
We bring a wireless Bluetooth speaker to set. If you’re a band with drums, it’s best to have a PA or a large speaker.
10 Do you film live shows?
Yes!
11 Do you record audio?
Yes. If your video needs dialogue we can record professional audio.
12 Can I provide my own director?
Yes! We’re happy to collaborate and will work out pre-production details with them before the shoot.
13 Can I provide my own hair & make-up?
Yes!
14 What if the weather is bad?
If travel conditions are dangerous we can reschedule the shoot with no penalty. Some expenses, like location fees, can be non-refundable.
15 What if I need multiple days?
Often multiple shoot days are needed. Once we know the total filming hours, we’ll build you a quote.
16 Do you travel?
Yes, at $1.00 per mile. For long-distance shoots we quote airfare, lodging and transportation. We’ve traveled 150,000 miles to shoots and have clients in 15 countries.
